The Human Support Group are currently recruiting Care Assistants to provide personal and domestic support to adults in their own home.

Who are we?

Human Support Group are a growing national company that was established in 1998 and who provide the following care in the community; domiciliary, reablement and respite to around 2,500 Service Users each week.

In order to provide the highest level of care we need to ensure we recruit talented, competent and passionate carers. That’s where you come in!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who have a caring nature and a commitment to providing a high standard of care to vulnerable people within the community.

Empathetic, compassionate, respectful and resilient – all of this along with having a common sense approach whilst being reliable and positive is what makes a HSG Carer. If this sounds like you do not hesitate to apply with the view to an immediate interview.

We are looking for carers in the following areas of Edinburgh: Leith, Granton, Silverknowes, Corstorphine, Currie, South Queensferry.

Successful candidates will need to be a member of the PVG Scheme, the cost of this will be met by the applicant. This role has an exception under the Equality Act 2010 as you must be aged 18 or over.

Experience is not essential as full, paid training and shadowing will be provided.

Possession of a full UK drivers licence is not essential as long as you have the means to travel between homes. Successful candidates will be required to work on a rotational working pattern with a progression to a guaranteed hour’s contract and therefore must be able to commit to evening and weekend work.

Provider Failure
