Human Support Group at Village 135

We would like to inform you of Village 135 a new venture by Wythenshawe Community Housing Group. The Village which opens its doors March 22nd 2017 consists of 135 spacious two bedroom apartments available for sale, shared ownership and rent with the Human Support Group providing care for the residents of the ‘Village’ as commissioned by Manchester City Council in conjunction with Wythenshawe Community Housing Group.

Zoe Buckley the Extra Care Registered Manager for the Human Support Group Limited at Village 135 is looking forward to the opening of the ‘Village’ and introducing her team to the new residents who will be moving in to their new homes.

Zoe who has been with the Human Support Group Limited for over seven years has a wealth of skills and knowledge in Domiciliary, Reablement and Extra Care, is eager to meet with all new residents and will be on hand to chat about their individual needs and additional support, should they require any, over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Village 135 promotes a full and active lifestyle to residents who can participate in a range of activities designed to enrich their lifestyle, build friendships and provide new skills. Zoe’s team will be on hand to support residents living at Village 135 who require Extra Care with the option to purchase further help around the home in the form of: personal care, bathing & dressing, housework, light cleaning, hoovering, shopping, meal preparation, laundry, changing beds and medication.

The Village has been created to ensure residents will be able to enjoy independent living in the privacy of their own self-contained apartment, whilst having the peace of mind of a permanent on-site care team and security supplied by Zoe and her team.

The Village also boasts excellent communal facilities, including a fantastic Bistro Restaurant, relaxing, and revitalising Spa-Bathroom and Hair & Beauty salon. The new development is located in a sought after area of Wythenshawe in South Manchester, which is known as ‘Garden City’; where there are a number of shops, amenities, parks and transport links.

With the village opening this month, we would like to thank the staff that have already joined the Human Support Group and have been waiting patiently behind the scenes for the project to begin. We know they are extremely eager to start supporting the residents in their new homes and be a part of this exciting new development for Manchester and the Human Support Group Limited.
